Alright, well I made it safely to Helsinki. I checked my email and Louis, another trainee, had arranged some stuff for me. I must have had the wrong contact or something....It was so frustrating not knowing if someone was coming to get me at the airport etc. Of course no one got any messages asking them to pick up my keys, so arranging with the housing agency to pick them up early was a big waste of my time.

Thursday night, I went to Barfly, it was pub night, so I met a bunch of other trainees from all over the world.

I had to spend the night in a hotel which was on the other side of the city then my apartment....yep I lugged it all on public transit. I had met up with another Spanish trainee in the morning to get out keys and bus cards, and since he didn't get his keys right away, he helped me with my bags. When we got here, he got his keys at the other office, so I went back to the city centre to help him with his bags. I got a little practice taking the trains.

Saturday, I spent looking for a cord for my laptop. I finally found one after 3 stores. I also went to the train station to find a phone to phone this girl about the apartment for Sept.-Oct. I had to then find a phone card. It cost me like 3 Euro just to make a local call. When I called she was like I'm leaving for holidays call on the 14th, so I still haven't figured that out yet......

Now, it's Sunday, and I have had big plans to do some exploring etc. but its alreay 1:30 pm and I haven't left yet...I think I will just go walk around the city centre and try and find where I will be working:)
