Hello, Hello!

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, there came a time of revolution when rebels united to challenge Kristen's quest for clean underwear. But, I stayed obeident to my task and used the Jedi force (actually a cell phone, but it was so difficult. I actually wished I could use the force...would have been easier) to do my laundry.

The rest of my week went O.K. The computer is still massively screwed up. I hope we can save my pictures :( I took some more over this weekend, so hopefully I will be able to load some up soon. On Wednesday night, I went to pub night to meet some of the trainees. I met two girls from Britain and two from Hungary. On Thursday, I also went to pub night met a few more trainees. I was so tired that I went home early. On Friday, they yet again had another pub night...holy crap. I was too sick to go, had a head ache and a stomach ache...I think I had some bad food or something. I knew I wouldn't enjoy myself if I went out.

On Saturday, I went to the sea aquarium. It was neat. I was actually supposed to meet other trainees there. I went and was standing at a gate at 2:45 pm, so I asked a worker "Is this the main gate?" No, it wasn't so I finally found the main gate/sea life entrance and and no one was there!!!! They were supposed to meet me at 3 pm :( I waited for 15 minutes...still no one, so I just went in by myself...which was fine because I could go really slow and read everything etc. After, I was in there for a bit, I ran into another trainee, he said no one was comming....well nice of them to leave me that message..losers. I'm beginning to be less and less impressed with this trainee program. If I would have known, I would have left earlier and done it in the morning or maybe done the whole amusement park. Anyways, the aquarium was really neat I liked the sharks, jellyfish, octopus, pipefish, sea horses...etc. I LIKED IT ALL:) The sharks were really cool because you could walk underneath them through this tunnel and the aquarium was over top of you.

Anyways, after the aquarium me and my collegue went and walked around the botanical gardens and saw the glass houses (I refer to them as a green house) which were really neat and looked "old school." There was a heavy metal concert going on nearby, so not the regualar nature sounds, and wasn't as peaceful as I was expecting. Lots of gothic people walking about...I actually felt outta place...note to self...get pleather outfit. Anything that turns flab into cleavage is a definate asset to have in one's closet. I really don't know how comfortable those corset/bodice/boned things really are, but they could be a key piece in your wardrobe. You know, play up your classic pant suit with red pleather corrset...it could look really hot.

On Sunday, I went to Nuuksio National Park to meet up with some trainees, but again no one showed:( So not impressed. I did it all on my own again, which was fine because I could go at my own pace. I did two trails the Hawk's trail which was 4 KM and then the Robbin's trail which was 2 Km, plus the 2 KM hike from the bus to the park and another 2 KM from the park back to the bus. The trails were nice, one was really off road and rugged, but I saw lots of nice scenery and there are lots of blueberries!!! I left and at the bus stop ran into some of the otehr trainees, so they were there...but never found them...I was bitter so I talked to no one.

Anyways, today at work, I just anaylzed some data. Tomorrow, I'm leaving for 2 weeks on a research cruise, so I'm not sure if I will be able to keep you updated, but will try!

XO
Kristen
